Part One, Chapter 4 Summary

Angus visits Jamie at the jail before talking with Cam. Angus warns Cam that he might be heading down the wrong path, but Cam refuses to listen. At the flower shop, Mia teaches Allie how to work with bonsai trees, which is Mia's specialty. As they work, Allie asks Mia about herself. Mia reveals that she has traveled extensively since reaching adulthood. Mia's childhood was lonely, because her parents were so blindly devoted to each other they would often forget about Mia. Mia also confesses that she envies Allie because of the devotion she sees in her for Cam. Mia does not confess to feeling attracted to Cam, however.
