Chapter 10: A Bridge To Cross Summary

Jackie Lee doesn't get home until after Grace gets up the next morning and Grace can't understand how her mother could possibly have lost track of time until morning. Jackie Lee is patient at first, but finally tells her to drop it. She tells her about Winston's estate and how the night went, so exuberant that Grace is jealous.
