Peter

Peter is the eldest son of King Roland. Peter was conceived on the night that Roland killed a dragon and ate its heart. Peter is much loved by both his parents, especially his mother. Peter's mother does not condone the barbaric nature of the royal court and attempts to raise her son with manners, including making sure he uses his napkin at meals, even though the King does not. After his mother's death, Peter remains close to her by playing with her dollhouse. Peter and his father also remain close. Peter is the favorite child of the King, favored above Thomas who is so much like Roland that Roland cannot feel affection for the child.
