Chapter 9-10 Summary

Lauren goes home to get her things and then moves into Philip's condo. The condo is in a gated community where a guard must allow people in and out. Philip is waiting for Lauren when she arrives the first day and shows her around. Lauren finds clothes in the closets and asks Philip what to do with them. Due to the fact that many of the clothes are Lauren's size, Philip tells her she can keep them as he has no use for them. Lauren is thrilled because many of the clothes are very expensive. However, Lauren is also aware that the condo must have been a lover's nest for Philip's mistress based on the clothes and the fact that Philip asks Lauren not to tell Mrs. Whitworth about the condo because she is not currently aware of its existence.
