Advantages and Dangers of Technology

Technology has changed the lives of every person on the planet, though some may argue that not every single technological advance has been a positive change. In this novel, the characters deal with many pieces of technology. Some are good; some are dangerous; some are only dangerous if they fall into the wrong hands.

Ana Dakkar discovers that she is a direct descendant of Captain Nemo, who was a real person and a genius inventor. Ana and her brother Dev are among the students who attend the Harding-Pencroft Academy, a school that grooms students for role in marine-related fields.
