Part 7, Chapter 15 Summary

When Lestat wakes up the following night the only thought that is in his head is to go into the sanctuary. He knows Marius has forbidden him to go, but he is irresistibly drawn to it. Taking Nicki's violin with him, he goes down into the sanctuary. As Lestat plays the violin for them, he notices that Akasha moves off the altar toward him. She allows him to drink from her and she in turn, drinks from him. Enkil comes between them and tries to crush Lestat's head when Marius comes into the room in time to restore order. Lestat takes the opportunity to run away.
