Kennedy

Kennedy is the 17-year-old protagonist. Kennedy leads a fairly normal life until her mother is murdered and she’s thrown into a world that she has no idea existed. Everything she knows is overturned as she travels along with the Lockhart twins, Priest, and Alara. Kennedy is at first scared and unsure of everything, like when she breaks the salt line and almost gets killed in Lilburn. However, it’s seen that she does care for people, as when she risks her life to save Priest from Millicent Avery.

She has an overwhelming need to belong and is often at a loss of what to do when she can’t. For instance when her mark doesn’t show up after killing a ghost.
