Chapter 16

Kennedy is unable to sleep after the whole incident. She’s up leaning against the windowsill looking out at the sky thinking about how she doesn’t belong and that everyone has the wrong person. Convinced that she needs to leave, Kennedy packs her things and starts to head out. She doesn't get very far before Jared catches her, telling her to hold up. As he starts to break down her walls Kennedy ends up unloading all of her fears on him. He assures her that they know she belongs there and she will be there to help them. The chapter ends with the bolts starting to shake on the warehouse as the salt line is broken, allowing Andras to find them.
