Summary

Luke tries to get Thalia to work with them and summon the serpent to be sacrificed. Luke pleads that Zeus and the gods care nothing for her. Zoe refuses and the group ends up fighting Luke and the others. Percy squares off against Atlas, but finds himself vastly overwhelmed. Percy outsmarts Atlas, freeing Artemis and taking her spot so the goddess can fight against Atlas instead. Artemis battles Atlas alongside Zoe, who gets thrown off the mountain in the fight. Artemis manages to get Atlas back under the mountain, saving Percy from being crushed.

Thalia defeats Luke, but Annabeth pleads to spare him. While this happens, Artemis tries to find Zoe. Luke attempts to escape, but ends up falling down the mountain to his demise. Artemis recovers Zoe, but it is revealed that she had been poisoned earlier when they were trying to escape...
