Summary

“Chapter 34” is labeled “Day Three.” Elin and Will have breakfast as the third and penultimate bus leaves. Isaac arrives and is upset that they plan on leaving on the next bus. A man outside screams.

In “Chapter 35,” Elin follows Cecile outside to the pool and finds a body floating at the bottom of the water.

In “Chapter 36,” Isaac runs up and jumps into the pool, fearing Laure is beneath the water. When they take the mask off the woman, they discover it is Adele, not Laure. Elin tells everyone to stay back because this is a crime scene and she is a police officer.
