Summary

In Chapter 19, Kenny woke Lynette the following morning. Doreen's car was missing from the driveway. Lynette had unread messages on her phone from Gloria, JJ, and the bakery. She deleted them, and called AT&T to get a new number. She set Kenny up with a movie, called a junk company, and began sorting through everything in the house. While working with the junk men, Gloria showed up, furious. She accused Lynette of stealing her safe. Lynette denied it.

In Chapter 20, later in the afternoon, Lynette called JJ. They discussed what had happened with Rodney. She agreed to pay him $3,000 to resolve the issue.

After settling Kenny, Lynette continued carrying out her plan. She delivered the money to JJ. She scrapped her car. She mailed Gloria's belongings back to her. After taking Kenny for food, they returned home. Doreen was back. She was...
