Summary

When Razor leads Ringer to the warehouse where he left Teacup in Chapter 77, she asks for the rifle and smashes him in the head; she knows that Teacup is not here because their kiss worked like a lie detector so she knows something is wrong. She aches since the 12th System cannot protect her from a broken heart, but she cannot go soft now - she must go inside.

As Ringer enters the warehouse in Chapter 78, she notices the corpses and blood covering the first story which was obviously used as a field hospital. On the third floor, she finds a chessboard, and when Vosch notes that they never finished their game, Ringer asks why she is here, and he explains that it was a test of the 12th System which she has not...
