“The Infinite Sea” follows the story of a group of teenagers and young children as they struggle to survive after aliens invade Earth, killing millions of humans with a plague. The novel focuses on two protagonists, Ringer and Cassie, who part ways early in the narrative. While Cassie struggles to keep their group alive during her reunion with Evan and subsequent attacks by Grace and the Others, Ringer is captured and enhanced with alien technology to be used against her friends.
