Summary

In Chapter 46, Ross texts Matthew that there is no one at the Prior home. Jen arrives, saying she might know where Eve is. She has had the information all along, but she just now put the details together. Ross phones, saying Steve found out Roger is the Crow. Matthew realizes Roger has become addicted to the power he feels in that role. He tells Ross to find Roger and races to join Jen. Jonathan wants to come but Matthew refuses. Jen and Roger arrive at the Mackenzie's chalet at Seal Point. Matthew realizes the number he found in Nigel's day planner is the code to the security lock. There is no one inside but Jen finds earrings Janey was wearing earlier, indicating she was here today. Jen suggests Eve has an accomplice and Matthew realizes it always “comes back to the family” (351). They...
