Summary

In Chapter 31, Jen plans to return to Westacombe to check on Eve. Matthew tells her to find out if Sarah and John were friendly with Alexander, considering one of their theories – that Nigel had been threatening to expose the suicide chatroom. He also wants Jen to talk to Frank. Frank has only talked to Matthew so far and he wants another perspective on Frank. Eve is working with glass and says it is a relief to return to work, though her father died here. She says she was at Frank's the previous evening with John, Sarah, and the Mackenzies, celebrating the lives of Nigel, Alexander, and Wesley. She says has not seen Frank today and predicts he is sleeping off a hangover. Eve has had recurring nightmares about finding her father and Wesley, and says in the dream she is horrified most by...
