Summary

Chapter 19 is written from Aubrey’s perspective. It is the morning after the gala and she and Aubrey have been summoned to Carson’s office. Milly has received texts from Archer and Jonah. Jonah has apologized and wants to talk to her. She gets him to admit that he came to the island to get revenge.

The two girls go to Carson’s office and discover that they are meeting with Donald, not Carson. He tells them that they have three days to leave the island. They will be paid for the full summer, even though they have been fired. Before they leave, Mildred wants to talk to Aubrey as a representative for the cousins. Both Aubrey and Milly protest.
