Skookum National Forest

Skookum National Forest is where Madison went missing and where Naomi spends a lot of time searching for her. The forest is sprawling with only a few families living there. Madison and her parents had gone there to find a Christmas tree. Naomi travels some of the roads in the area. She also does a lot of walking. She visits the ranger station, the Murphy home, and finds an abandoned mine. Madison learned the area well over the years she spent here.

Hallsetter Cabin
