Summary

In Chapter 44, Keith threw himself into his job as district attorney to distract himself from the nightmare of his father’s murder. The family cried tears of joy when Keith and Ainsley, his wife, announced they were expecting a baby.

In Chapter 45, J.W. Gross, a private investigator, tracked Taylor down at one of his job sites. He said he had a client who had a job that needed to be done. He added Taylor would make a lot more than he had in Biloxi. The man left Taylor with his phone number and instructions to call if he was interested.
