Chapter 5

Meanwhile, the other part of the team (Reyna, Coach, and Nico) are in route to return the Athena Parthenos statue to Athens. They come out of their shadow travel and find that they are falling through the air and will land in the mouth of Vesuvius (a volcano). Quickly, Nico shadow transports them again, which is dangerous for him to do so close together.

This time they crash land in Pompeii, which is not a good thing considering all of the restless, dead spirits in the place. Nico, son of Hades, can command them to stay away as long as he is awake, but they hang around knowing that he will have to rest soon.
