Chapters 12 and 13 Summary

In Chapter 12, Christopher is not in school the next day and when Sarah unexpectedly bumps into Nissa, she asks if Christopher is okay. Nissa says he'd been upset after the dance and had gone to visit his brother, returning home after sunup. Just then Robert appears in the parking lot and Nissa says he was at a bash the previous night. Sarah suddenly realizes that she'd seen Robert at the bash the night she'd encountered Kaleo and she goes to talk to him. Sarah confronts him, asking why he's following the vampires. She discovers that he believes himself a hunter of sorts and he realizes Sarah had been seeking Nikolas the night she'd encountered Kaleo. Robert then reveals that his sister, Christine, had been at one of Nikolas's bashes and Nikolas had carved his name into her arm. She is now...
