Summary

It has been 12 days since Noah first emailed Sally and a week since they first spoke on the phone. Sally is driving to Noah’s home in California. She plans to stop at a gas station before arriving at his home to freshen up, and she realizes that all of her sketches speaking out against beauty standards were likely due to how much resentment she has that they have a hold over her. She is hoping the meeting is more than a booty-call. When they first discussed Sally going to California for a visit, Noah offered to send a private jet for her, but she declined. Noah and Sally discuss a thin white woman that Sally saw while walking Sugar, Jerry’s dog, who was wearing a shirt that said Good Vibes Only. They think it is inappropriate for such a woman...
