Carolina del Norte

The Cruz family lived and worked in Carolina del Norte (North Carolina) when they got to the United States. There Mr. Cruz, a farmer, had to do construction work. Too many Mexican workers came to Carolina del Norte, however, and as such, the work dried out. This is the reason the Cruz family moved to Vermont.
