Several months later, Chavez and Clark speculate as to the fate of Brightling and the others. No one has ever heard anything from them. They probably all perished. Clark reads an article in the newspaper about a Russian national who bought a ranch in Montana that turned out to be sitting on a huge gold mine. Clark thinks to himself, "greedy bastard."
