Mia lies to her friends, saying she has to call Michael, so that she can meet Lana in the stairwell after lunch. Mia arrives before Lana. Mia starts thinking about what lie she can make up to tell Michael she can't attend his party this weekend. When she hears someone coming, she decides she needs to tell Michael the truth.

It turns out it is the money that Lana is talking about. Lana wants an invitation to Grandmere's benefit and one for her friend Trish. They want to meet Colin Farrell. Mia asks for Lana's advice on how to party.
