Summary

In Chapter 11, Jimmy drives back to the Duck House, which is now on fire. Jimmy talks to the firefighters and the fire inspector, who are present at the scene. They tell him that the fire has spread throughout the building, and that there is no way to save it. The inspector says that Jimmy will not receive insurance money from the fire until it is proven that Jimmy did not set the fire himself, and that he did not arrange for someone to set the fire. Jimmy infers that Pang either set the fire or sent someone to set it. Jimmy calls his brother Johnny, who is currently working as a college lecturer in China. Jimmy informs Johnny of the fire, and of his plan to open a new restaurant with the insurance money. Jimmy says that he hired Pang to set the fire...
