Summary

Act 3 begins with “The Boson”. The stage is empty except for the character of The Boson and Jenny’s charcoal-stained vomit from the end of the previous act. The Boson mops up the vomit as he addresses the audience. The Boson discusses various things that could end the world. He addresses the audience in a condescending and unpleasant manner, accusing them of being uninformed and too stupid to understand what he is telling them. As his address continues he sounds more and more confused, like a person suffering hallucinations, and begins talking about the experience of realizing your blood has been replaced with battery acid, as if it is a common experience everyone has had.
