Summary

Act 2 begins with the scene “Repeatedly, and at Regular Intervals” which takes place in Alice and Luke’s apartment in Geneva in 2008, a year after the previous scene. Jenny has just arrived. She tells Alice about suspecting that two men on her flight were terrorists. She said she warned the air hostess and was worried she wouldn’t take her seriously, but the air hostess thanked her being vigilant. During the story, Luke enters and complains about Jenny smoking. He asks Jenny if the men she suspected of being terrorists were Asian and she responds, “I’d rather be a racist than die in a plane crash” (33).
