Treena helps her pack but when her parents realize what she is doing, her mother forbids her to go, telling her it is immoral, could possibly affect the rest of her life, her chances of getting into college and her record. Treena supports her, and Louisa is forced to defy her parents. Her mother tells her not to bother coming back, but Dad tosses Treena his keys and suggests they leave out the back door.
