Part Four, A-Hunting We Will Go, Chapters 53-62 Summary

Cross is having trouble sleeping, so he decides to go for a drive. Somehow, Cross finds himself outside Christine Johnson's house. Cross tries to talk himself out of knocking on her door, but is not successful. Christine does not seem surprised to find Cross at her door. Christine invites him inside and they share a drink. Christine seems to understand Cross needs a friend and allows him to talk about his kids and his wife. Finally Christine sends Cross home with an invitation to return whenever he needed to. Early the next morning, Jack sneaks into the home of General Aiden Cornwall, a member of the Jack and Jill task force. Jack was once good friends with Cornwall so he needs to kill him to keep him from learning...
