Summary
In Chapter 30 Grant is starting a new project. He thinks about how Helen is able to come up with new ideas but that it is hard for him to create his own stuff, always sure he may be on the brink of being unemployed. Helen is always coming up with new goals. He wonders if a part of her will stay with him. He gets a call from his mother telling him that her house has sold. He is about to tell his mom to get rid of his childhood stuff, but he changes his mind and decides to go get his belongings.
Grant drives across the country to go home, stopping at the home of an old friend along the way. While at the friend’s house, he calls Helen from his friend’s phone, but when she answers, he does...
