Summary

In Chapter 69. Rahn finds Cormac at a dive bar. Suddenly, Cormac says he does not understand how the Autumn King never made Ruhn cruel. Cormac says his father succeeded as he has always been willing to kill them. However, Camac apologizes and admits he was jealous of Ruhn, but thinks Bryce may have undone that. Ruhn announces that they are going to start over and build their own paths. Cormac agrees.

Meanwhile, Hunt sneaks into the Barracks for weapons, but runs into Celestina. He tries asking Ephraim, but then says he could not sleep because he was thinking about his new title as Prince. Hunt is not sure if she is suspicious.

In Chapter 70, the Tharion and Cormac search for Doctor Zelis, but Cormac says Pippa is waiting.

Meanwhile, Bryce, Hunt, and Ruhn wait in the Eternal City as Cormac...
