Summary

In Chapter 25, the River Queen is angry that Tharion asked her daughter on a date Above, calling her fragile. Then, the Queen demands that he bring her Emile before her sisters find him and Tharion questions if he would stop the others from overthrowing the River Queen. He says both the Above and Below can be great, but she forces him to pick up trash as punishment, fueling Tharion's resentment.

Meanwhile, Ruhn asks the Autumn King about the Starsword, but does not mention the Reaper's death. As Ruhn thinks about the significance of the number seven, the King says the sword is from another world. Therefore, it does not adhere to their world's rules. The King says Ruhn should have killed Bryce since Starborn are always against each other. Ruhn argues the King's decisions should not be the only ones considered...
