Summary

Chapter 21 is from Ben’s perspective and takes place on Saturday, June 13th. Ben is sad about how Arthur’s visit ended. Ben is currently preparing for Mario to come over and cook part of dinner for his family. Ben does not feel self-conscious about money around Mario because they have a similar financial background. The initial meet with the parents goes well. The four of them are in the kitchen together, Mario speaking fluent Spanish with Ben’s parents while they work. His parents seem to like Mario. During dinner they exchange stories. Ben feels like he is learning a lot of new things about Marion.
