Amy Elliott Dunne: Ten Days Gone Summary

Amy dumps the car she bought and Desi drives her out to his lake house. Desi gives Amy a tour of the house when they arrive. He assigns Amy to the second biggest bedroom in the place. Desi says he had it painted her favorite color, which Amy thinks was her favorite color in high school, not now.

Desi takes Amy out to a greenhouse that he has had filled with tulips. He says he hopes they are still her favorite flowers. Amy asks Desi to leave her some money, but he insists she doesn't need money since she has everything she needs in the lake house. When she insists, he gives her $40. Amy starts to thinks she's made a mistake by coming here.
