Chapter 19, My Recovery Summary and Analysis

Over the next few years, Ms. Eadie sank into a deep depression. Life on Earth was difficult with the knowledge Ms. Eadie now had. However, Ms. Eadie soon pulled herself out of the depression in order to spend time with her family. Five years after this near death experience, Ms. Eadie decided to see the doctor who had done the surgery in order to ask him what had happened that night, since she was never told what might have happened.

The doctor listened to Ms. Eadie speak for the better part of an hour even though his waiting room was packed with patients. The doctor began to cry even as he told her what her medical file said about the events of that night. Ms. Eadie had hemorrhaged on the operating table, and the bleeding had begun...
