Chapter 18, My Return Summary and Analysis

Ms. Eadie found herself back in her hospital room. The sight of her body on the bed upset her, because it seemed like a dirty old coat she would have to put back on after a shower. Ms. Eadie sank into a depression the moment her spirit returned to her body, depressed by its weight. Her three monks returned to help her adjust, giving her a sense of peace. Ms. Eadie fell asleep only to wake soon after, still depressed. Ms. Eadie began to fall asleep again when she saw movement at her door. Five dark, shadowy creatures came into the room and attempted to attack her, but a doom of light surrounded her, keeping them away.
