Summary

In Chapter 35, both Dr. Benefield and Lydia are upset that Kyle left the hospital. He can barely walk, and Dr. Benefield says he could have caused real damage to his injured leg. She orders pain medication, but he declines. Kyle is grieving over the things he will never again do with Marley. Kyle urges Sam to tell Kim how he feels while struggling to accept the reality that he will never be able to tell Marley. He has a dream that night that includes Georgia and a room filled with yellow. Marley is there, also dressed in yellow. Kyle knows this is a dream but holds to it anyway as Marley cuddles with her. He hears a voice saying that Kyle is now awake, living two lives, and a door opens to reveal Kimberly, Sam, and Kyle hanging out together. He hears Marley...
