Chapter 12 Turn Left at Middle earth Summary

On her first day of school, Alice puts on her mother's makeup and ends up with a colorful face and strange eyeliner. At school, Alice gets shown around the regular school by the principal. In gym class, the jock girls make fun of how she is dressed. On her way to English Alice observes the different groups of students. She gets made fun of by some of the head bangers but ignores it and continues to class. In English she notices that her teacher seems to be a feminist and is happy that there is someone like her in this school.
