Chapter 3 As for me and my life goals Summary

Alice gets started on the life goal of changing her look since she was mistaken for an employee at a Workwear store. She has always admired the way her cousin Frank dresses. Frank seems to be fashion forward and wear whatever she wants. Frank comes to stay with Alice's family while she is waiting to go to rehab. Alice ends up running away after Alice's parents called the hospital to ask about Alice's behavior.

Alice has decided that she is going to pursue a career as a cultural critic because she seems to be so negative and critical already. Alice describes her little brother Macgregor who is 10 but seems to be mature for his age. Macgregor enjoys nature but is not a hippie.
