Summary

In Chapter 16, Belle flagged Chiamaka down as she was walking home after detention. She asked Chiamaka what had happened between them and then told her that she had broken up with Jamie. She told Chiamaka that she honestly wanted to be friends and the girls made plans to watch Project Runway together. Chiamaka decides to ask one of the tech students, Peter, to look into the corrupted USB sticks.

In Chapter 17, Terrell came to see Devon after his detention. When Devon tells him about Aces, Terrell says that he thinks Aces is racially motivated. Devon does not want to believe that because it would be too sad. They go to the park and kiss. The next day at school, Mr. Taylor tells Devon he heard the rumors about him being involved with drug deals and warns him...
