Summary

In Chapter Five, Devon walks to school on Tuesday morning and tries not to panic about the photo that someone sent out. Although he assumes everyone at Niveus would be fine with his sexuality, he is scared of his religious mother finding out and about the news getting back to the gang members in his neighborhood who he used to go to school with and who always beat him up in middle school. When he arrives at school, he goes to find Scotty to see if he sent out the photo and why. Though Scotty had been in the closet while they dated in secret the year before, he was now out and proud.
