Chapter 63, Jaime Summary

While traveling to King's Landing, Jaime Lannister learns that King Joffrey Baratheon, his true son, is dead. Jaime is more concerned about Cersei than the loss of Joffrey, however. Brienne is upset at the news about Robb and Catelyn Stark's deaths. Jaime offers to send Brienne home or give her a home at King's Landing. Brienne does not like either choice. They arrive at King's Landing the next day. Ser Loras Tyrell recognizes Brienne as the one who killed Renly Baratheon. Jaime stops him from killing her, but lets Ser Loras arrest her.

Jaime goes to see Cersei, who is grieving for Joffrey. She tells him Tyrion killed Joffrey, and she wants Jaime to kill Tyrion. Jaime wants to know more about what happened first. They have sex, and Jaime says he wants to be open about their relationship and marry...
