The Farm

Buddy lives on the farm when readers meet him at the beginning of the narrative. This is where he encounters CJ and Gloria when they come there to visit and he saves Clarity's life on numerous occasions. He is living on the farm when Hannah realizes that he has cancer and is forced to put him to sleep. Later Buddy's soul returns in the body of Max when he goes to the Farm with CJ and Trent. It is when they leave that CJ and Trent declare their love for each other. The Farm is a nurturing place and CJ receives unconditional love from Hannah and Buddy here.
