Camping Trip

Have the students plan a camping trip. They should research what type of equipment they will need, food that will need to be purchased or prepared, how much water will be required, fun activities, etc. They should then create a master list as a class and divide the items up among the students. If possible, have the students either go on an overnight camping trip, spend a day at a campsite, or create a mock campsite in the classroom.

Design Your Own Camper

Have the students design their dream campers. They may use real campers as inspiration, as well as their imaginations. The final design could be done in a drawing program like photoshop or with pen, pencil, colored pencil, etc. on paper.
