The Last Graduate (The Scholomance) Overview

The Last Graduate is the second novel in Naomi Novak's Scholomance trilogy. El is destined to become the most wicked maleficer of all time, but she is determined to avoid her fate and become a good person. First, though, she must finish her senior year and escape through the deadly graduation hall which is packed full of monsters waiting to eat the graduates. When El begins to train for this macabre final test, she decides that she does not want to wait for graduation to become a good person, so she sets out on a mission to find a way to get everyone in the school out safely, and she vows not to leave the school until everyone else is out. However, in order for her plan to succeed, El needs to inspire her peers to work together. The novel explores injustice, friendship, love, choice, and collaboration.
