Summary

Chapter 25

Alice has a meeting with the other mothers about the upcoming Guinness World Record event. A few of the mothers talk to her about the memory loss. When she asks about Nick and the other woman they explain what actually happened. It was Gina’s husband, Michael, who had been kissing one of the moms, Mrs. Holloway. Gina made them promise not to talk about it, but that’s when she started to have problems with her marriage. The chapter briefly shifts back to Elisabeth. She had called about the results of her blood test and was now considering if she should drive into a traffic pole or go to work. The chapter shifts momentarily back to Alice, who is overwhelmed with playground duty. Later that night, Alice wakes up because she hears Madison having a nightmare. Madison keeps saying she has...
