Chapter 15

Everyone but Frannie makes an excuse to leave the room after Alice asks about Gina. Frannie has to awkwardly explain that Gina used to live across the street. This triggers a feeling of rage within Alice, but she doesn't know why. Frannie helps her remember that Nick cheated on Alice with Gina, but Alice can’t remember why that would have happened. She wonders if it was something that she did to push him away. She’s furious with both Nick and Gina. Alice gets a call from Kate Harper, the other mom running the party. Kate insists that Alice still run the party at her house, and Alice agrees because she thinks her life is already a nightmare. Alice is surprised that her future self would be friends with someone like Kate.
