Chapter 60-64 Summary

In New Orleans, Cross meet Hughes for dinner. They are both excited about the take-down of the magicians. After dinner, the two of them attend the magic show. Twelve other agents also attend the show. Craig listens from outside, as he does not blend in as well. Cross feels nearly certain that the magicians are the killers, but has no proof. While waiting for the show to start, Cross describes Craig to Jamilla Hughes. He says Craig is smart, though hard to read. Hughes, though, claims he is sexist and does not trust him. At the beginning of the show, Charles appears first, dressed as Cross imagines the killer would, all in black. Cross describes Charles's outfit in further detail. When he looks at Cross and Hughes, Hughes suspects that Charles labels them as cops.
