Chapter 46-49 Summary

Craig and Cross fly together to Atlanta, which Cross laments is another beautiful and historic city. The most recent attack occurred in a frenzy, in a cathedral. Cross surmises, from the nature of the attack, the killers want the police to catch them, to stop them. Cross describes the cathedral in detail. He also takes note of the body, another beautiful person. Cross begins putting together a profile on the killers, guessing them to be late teens or early twenties.

Craig promises three hundred FBI agents are working the case full-time. Before they finish up at the cathedral, another attack occurs in Charlotte, North Carolina.
