Epilogue, Chapter 2 Summary

Lestat eventually goes home to New Orleans and hides more and more from mortals. He sits inside one of his many homes and reads. After a while, Armand comes and visits him though Lestat pays him no mind. He even begins to believe that he imagines Armand's visits. In the year 1929 Lestat makes the choice to go into the earth for the second time of his immortal existence. While he is underground, he sees images of Marius and Those Who Must Be Kept over the years. He wonders if these are true images or whether they are a part of his imagination.

It finally comes out that Lestat does indeed love Armand, though.....
